Children are a central part of Family of Christ, and our desire is for families to be in worship together, but sometimes parents and caregivers need an extra hand - and that is why our nursery ministry is here! It is designed to care for and nurture our youngest generation, share the love of Jesus with children, and make their first church experiences positive and loving.
The Family of Christ KidZone Nursery is...
- Designed for children from 6 weeks to 3 years of age.
- Staffed by one adult supervisor and one or more youth volunteers.
- Open on Sunday mornings from 8:45 am until 15 minutes after the last worship service is over.
Safety
Our nursery is designed to provide safe activities for infants and toddlers. Registration is required - see form below. We ask families to complete a daily check-in form with basic child and contact information that will also be used to share information with parents about their child's time in the nursery. Our supervisors are CPR certified and our volunteers are trained, screened, and ready to care for your child.
Well Child Policy
For the protection of all our children, please do not bring your children to the nursery if they exhibit any of the following:
- Fever in the last 24 hours
- Vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours
- Any unexplained rash
- Cloudy or green runny nose
- Pink eye or other eye infections
- Persistent cough
- Any communicable disease
- Any symptoms of common childhood diseases such as chicken pox, strep throat, etc.
