    Powerhouse is Family of Christ's weekly High School Youth night for students in grades 9-12. It is designed to help students grow in faith and develop Christian friendships. The night starts out with social time with food, games and more (7:00-7:30pm) followed by a topic presentation (7:30-7:45pm) concluding with small group discussion. Topics will include Teen Issues and Biblical Studies.


    Friends are always welcome and encouraged to join each week!


    Where: Family of Christ, Lutheran Church – Youth Center


    When: Wednesday nights from 7-8:15pm

  • the point for youth

    • Who: Jr. Youth (Grades 6-8) and Sr. Youth (Grades 9-12)
    • What: The Point for Youth is a Bible study that will start out with open social time with refreshments followed by a topic presentation and discussion.
    • Where: Family of Christ, Lutheran Church – Youth Center
    • Why: To grow in God’s Word and connect with God’s people.
    • When: Sunday mornings at 9am and 10:30 am
    • Cost: Free will donation for food and beverages

    Registration is now open to all 8th-12th grade students for the 2024 summer youth mission trip to Idaho Servant Adventures in the Bitterroot Mountains in northern Idaho.

    Family of Christ Student Leadership Training

    Ignite is a Christ-like Servant Leader training series for students in grades 9-12 that will focus on learning leadership Christ style. Together we will learn how we can positively impact our church, schools, neighborhoods and world.

    • Motivate you to lead like Jesus!


    You will . . .

    • Learn about your unique leadership style
    • Identify strength and growth areas and develop a growth plan
    • Learn how to articulate and defend your faith
    • Learn and live scripture
    • Assist in planning and implementation of Sr. High Student Ministry
    • Hang out with other cool youth and adult leaders

    When will in take place?

    Sunday evenings from 4-7pm once a month
