I grew up in Wausau, Wisconsin and knew by my sophomore year of high school that I was called to serve God in ministry. I grew up in a Christ-centered family and even have a brother that serves as pastor of a congregation in Townsend, Wisconsin. In 2021 I graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul with a BA in Church Music, Minor in Lutheran Theology. I am also in the midst of a three summer program, in pursuit of my Master’s in Music Education with a concentration in Choral Conducting, at the University of St. Thomas.
I currently live in Coon Rapids with my wife Kallie Jo, who also works in Ministry at Faith Lutheran, and we are joined in our tiny apartment by our very sassy cat named Minion, and our 8 month old kitten named Mozart. Kallie Jo and I celebrated our first year of marriage this past September. Together, we enjoy finding new restaurants to eat at (we always welcome new suggestions,) bike riding, spending time with family and friends, singing in ensembles, and watching the latest reality show or medical drama. In my own free-time, I enjoy keeping up with Star Wars, playing video games with friends, and learning as many new instruments as possible.
