Becky graduated from Crown College with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught 1st grade at both Legacy Christian Academy (6 years) and at Chapel Hill Academy (5 years). In between these two jobs, she taught in Japan for two years as a missionary English teacher at a Japanese church. Her Japanese students ranged from age 4-60.
While at Chapel Hill, Becky started dating James and they were married in 2002. She felt called to be a homemaker and a full-time mom, and therefore stopped teaching. And after four years of marriage, along came a daughter, Kristiana, who eventually attended preschool at FOC and had a wonderful experience in both Mrs. Raab’s and Mrs. Guenther’s classrooms. Throughout her daughter’s schooling, she was chief bus driver and now that Kristiana is in college, she is ready to once again use her gifts in the classroom!
The Rempps live on 2 ½ acres in Andover and her husband works in information technology for a medical device company. They have a golden retriever named Sunny and a cat named Silky.
Becky enjoys Bible study, playing piano for the FOC choir, cooking (especially Japanese food), baking, crocheting, and gardening.
Her favorite Bible verse is:
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
