Core Courses

Description: to equip students for discipleship by teaching the fundamentals of Christian faith, Lutheran Doctrine and Church History.

Topics: Living Scripture (Old and New Testament Survey), God's Law/God' Love (Ten Commandments), Living Lutheran (Martin Luther and Christian Overview), Living Faith (The Creed and Sacraments), Life of Prayer (Lord's Prayer), Hot Topics (Teen Issues).

 

Elective Courses

CrossTraining students are to complete at least 2 credits of  Electives each year.  All students are required to complete the Communion Instruction course sometime before the end of 8th grade in order to complete requirements for the Rite of Confirmation.

 

Communion Instruction

Description:  To prepare students for participating in the sacrament of Holy communion.  This class is offered for students grades 6 and up.  

 

Experiential Learning Modules

Description: to equip students for discipleship by teaching the fundamentals of Christian faith, Lutheran Doctrine and Church History.

  • 9th Grade Rite of Confirmation 

Description: To help prepare students for their Rite of Confirmation

Topics: Christian Doctrine Review and Rite of Confirmation Rehearsal
